In 2020, I had the honor of crafting my paternal grandfather's funeral urn. Creating such a precious and meaningful object was a revelation for me.
The Aura Memorial project is the culmination of several years of research and experimentation to master this ancient technique, in which earth, fire, and time co-create with me objects imbued with authenticity and meaning. I wish to create pieces that accompany meaningful moments, that carry a presence, and speak of a living memory. Guided by the desire to bring new meaning to current funeral rituals, AURA Memorial offers unique commemorative objects handmade in Quebec. A lasting art that speaks of life and celebrates the complexity of each existence.
